Camp Norway
What an inaugural season it was! Extraordinary snow storms in Jan. pummeled the yurt. Feb. settled down and skiers were treated to exceptional skiing. Thanks to all those beta-testers this year for their enduring enthusiasm to ski where no others had gone before!

Standing on RedMt via Norway Camp looking north. Drop to Imnaha then up to Cusick, No-Name Bump, Sentinel, Pete's Point, lastly Aneroid(far right brown pt.) and into McCully Basin. Wallowa Haute Route !!!!
NORWAY trips meet in Halfway, OR. at WhiteFir Retreat cabin. (6.7 miles north of Halfway on left marked by wooden sign for cabin with reflectors. Watch for PineCreek crossing after driveway. You know you're at the end of the road when you see snowmobile trailers and no pavement. If road becomes snowgroomed, you've gone too far!!). From end of paved road is a six mile drag in behind snowmobile, then skin in is 2.5-miles gaining 2000 ft. Norway camp has one 20ft yurt for sleeping up to nine guests and serves as dining/cook yurt. All bedding is provided.
