introduction
We invite you to join us for a unique backcountry wilderness skiing experience in the Wallowa Mountains of Northeastern Oregon. Our McCully Basin camp at 7500 foot elevation sits 1.5 miles inside the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. The Wallowa's intercontinental snowpack, in excess of 350 inches a winter, provides wide open bowls, glades, and couloirs. Ringed in by peaks just shy of 10,000 feet, McCully Basin boasts abundant north-facing powder slopes ensuring fresh tracks well after a storm. We offer three, four and five day trips. You will have large, cozy yurts, delicious food, sauna, and dry McCully Basin powder all to yourself. That's right, no snowmobiles, no heliocopters, no day trippers, just you!. All trips are lead by certified hosts with years of experience outfitting backcountry trips in the Wallowas and beyond. We have twenty five accident-free years guiding in this Oregon Wilderness. So if you would like to join us for some great wilderness skiing and the time of your life, drop a line or give us a call at: (541)-426-4887 or 1-800-545-5537.
